yea thats how it should be. just loosen up the side without the sprocket and remove that crank. after that you may have to use something like a rubber mallet to hit the part of the spindle where the crank you removed used to be in order to remove the remaining spindle and other crank/sprocket

the originals? take the bolt out of the end of each crank and than loosen the bolts the tighten each crank into position. than slide er' off
